Community Hub & Sports Pavilion

Objective: 

The design and construction of a modern Community and Sports Pavilion in Ballycannon which will meet the need of rapidly growing community. It will become a symbol of community pride and unity, reinforcing the sense of belonging among residents. By creating a versatile space that accommodates diverse needs, the Community Association aims to enhance the overall quality of life in our locality, promoting a vibrant and inclusive community for generations to come.

• Provide a suitable and fit for purpose home for our local clubs and classes including Hurling, Football, Tennis, Karate and Yoga and Performance Academy.

In Scope:

• Remove existing temporary shed and changing rooms

• Develop a Community Hub and Sports Pavilion to include:

  • First-floor viewing area

  • Sports Hall

  • Changing Rooms with Showers

  • Toilets

  • Community Hub and multi-functional rooms

  • Kitchenette

  • Roof Top Solar Array 

• Develop a car-park with permeable paving and all associated works

• Construction a sports storage and maintenance shed
