Multi-Use Games Area

Objective: 

Upgrade the existing tennis and basketball court area to an all-weather Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) which can be used to accommodate various deferent sports such as tennis, basketball, netball and bowels. MUGAs serve as hubs for social interaction, fostering a sense of community by bringing people together for sports, events, and other shared activities.

• Flexible use of space that can accommodate various sports and recreational activities

• Promote increased physical activity

• Enable people of all ages and abilities to participate in different sports and activities

• Safe and accessible space for young people to engage in sports and recreational activities

• Community Engagement with the MUGA acting as a hub for social interaction

• Deter vandalism and misuse of the area as the MUGA will be actively monitored by the community

• Upgraded Perimeter Fencing 

• Wheel Chair accessible

• Controlled Access with Electronic Keypad

• Security Cameras
